NOTICE WHAT YOU NOTICE

Wherever you are when you are read this, write down the time, date and the answers to these questions either directly into your comp book or on a piece of paper that you’ll glue into your comp book-

The questions are about the present—where you are right now, right this second as you read this. It should take you less than five minutes. Let your answers be obvious and even boring but accurate. Write in complete sentences. , “To my right there is a banana, a ruler and a flair pen. To my left a clip board, a cup of tea and Dan Chaon’s new collection of short stories.

 Be a like a reporter taking notes. Do not fear being boring, strive for accuracy and don’t take more than five minutes to do this.
